. Separate wallplate from thermostat.  
. Mount wallplate as shown below.  
It's easier to grasp the wallplate  
and remove it after completely  
removing the battery holder.  
Remove battery holder.  
Insert reference card after wallplate is  
mountedꢀ(seeꢀinstructions,ꢀbelow).  
Pull here to remove wallplate  
from new thermostat.

then push gently until the thermostat  
snaps in place.  
Push excess wire back into
